Wildcard Wednesday: Fall Fun! (Part 3)

In my opinion, the entry way is one of the most important areas of my home because it sets the tone for the house, so when it comes to fall decorating, of course I can't leave it out!  But it doesn't take much to warm it up for the season......

.....a few pumpkins, berries, & foliage, & it's ready for fall!

Once again, I just traded out the nests & eggs from spring!

Wildcard Wednesday: Signs of Spring......in Review {Part 1}

Can you believe that spring is coming to an end & summer is here?  I sure can't!  Where does the time go?

But since it is, I thought it might be fun to do a little recap of all of the "Signs of Spring" from my home.  {Next week I'll review our garden.}

Wildcard Wednesday: Signs of Spring .....In My Entry

This time of year always inspires me to do a little nesting........quite literally.......because one of my favorite spring decorations is NESTS.

Last week I shared that one of the spots I like to change seasonally is my set of glass canisters in the kitchen.  Well, another spot I like to change is my entry table.  I think the entry sets the tone for the whole house, and I want to be sure that guests (and ourselves, for that matter) have a pleasant greeting from the time they enter.

So each season I change out the contents of the big metal bowl......grapes & decorative balls for summer, pumpkins & gourds for fall, pomegranates or ornaments for Christmas, and nests & eggs for spring.

A little greenery wrapped around the base of the cream candles also says "spring"!
