I haven't done a book review in a while, but a couple weeks ago I read a book that is definitely worth talking about!
The name of the book? Heaven Is For Real by Todd Burpo.

While I am a Christian & very much believe in heaven, I have often been skeptical of books written by individuals who have seen heaven. Why? Definitely not because I don't believe in heaven, but because I'm unsure of their honesty & don't want to believe something that is not true.........that doesn't line up with the Word of God.
Like me, you also may have heard of books that share individuals' heaven experience, & like me, you might have been skeptical. But this book is different. You see, it is the experience of a very innocent 4 year old boy named Colton, who would have had a very difficult time making some of this up!

After having two people tell me about this book in the same week, I figured it was worth looking into. And once I looked into it, I couldn't put it down! It's a fast, easy read, but beware, you might need a few kleenex nearby.
Whether you're questioning the reality of heaven or just want a little glimpse of it, or whether you are just curious & want to hear about this little Nebraska boy's experience, it is a must read!
Without giving away too much, if you've ever lost someone close to you or if you've ever had a miscarriage, this book can offer a little insight & comfort. Personally, having had a miscarriage a couple years ago myself, this book brought me to tears! Happy tears, of course!
And I guess I'm not the only one who's enjoyed this book, as it is on the New York Time's Best Sellers List! It's easy to find, too. Just google it & you'll get all kind of results, even video clips of interviews with Colton, who is now about 11 years old.
If you've read it, I'd love to know what you think! If not, what are you waiting for?
